The Port Ghalib resort and urban complex, already famous in the international
scuba diving community, is a new development on the Red Sea Coast in Egypt,
extending along 35 km of the highly attractive coastal strip to include nine tourism villages, complete with an international marina, 23 hotels, a yacht club in addition to private and luxurious housing complexes, commercial malls and entertainment facilities.

The Port Ghalib development has been designed with a vision of the future city, using the new generation of "NGN" technology providing a complete range of communication services together with an integrated security system within the Port Ghaleb area. The project is owned and developed by the Al-Kharafi Group with the total value of the project estimated to be a few BILLION USD.

Port Ghalib has its own airport, power station, water desalination, water sewage and black water recovery system, and by the same context, it will have its own underlying ICT infrastructure. To date more than $us 3.5 billion has been invested.
